Dana Schechter is a New York-based freelance designer, animator and musician. Schechter began playing music at the age of 9, and started performing as a bassist at the age of 16. Primarily a bassist, Schechter is a multi-instrumentalist who sings as well as plays lap steel guitar, piano and drums. Schechter was the bass player, singer and primary songwriter for Bee And Flower from 2000 until 2012. She has also performed with Angels Of Light, Thor & Friends, Keren Ann, Tarnation and April March among many others. Her current musical projects include Insect Ark, Gnaw, Zeal & Ardor, Arabrot and Wrekmeister Harmonies.
