It is set in a hotel on Marine Parade in Brighton and follows the lives of five couples that stay there for a weekend.  The original songs were written by [[Mark Eitzel]]. Two of the songs from the play appeared on Eitzel's ''[[Klamath]]'' album, including "[[I Live In This Place]]". Other songs include "[[Heaven In Your Arms]]", "[[Michael's Song]]" and "[[One More Summer In Brighton]]".
