Zippo Records was an independent label based at 37/39 Clapham Park Road, London SW4 in the 1980s. Run by Peter Flanagan, it started as a shop selling music unavailable elsewhere in the UK, e.g. early Green On Red, Department Store Santas, Roky Erickson and many more. It later set up its own record label to release this style of music, before being swallowed up into the Demon Music Group.

American Music Club on Zippo

Grifter Records licensed Engine to Zippo for release on LP and CD in the UK and France in 1987.
