Schindele played with Farmers and knew many American Music Club once and former members, including Vudi, Tim Vaughan, Bruce Kaphan and Matt Norelli. AMC brought Schindele in to play keyboards during their sessions for their 1987 album Engine - Schindele played on "Outside This Bar", "Mom's TV", "Art Of Love" and "Asleep".
