Lover's Leap USA is the fifth solo album by Mark Eitzel, self-released in a limited edition of 500 copies and sold on tour in 1997. A different version of "Sun Smog Seahorse" would resurface on Eitzel's next album, 1998's Caught In A Trap And I Can't Back Out 'Cause I Love You Too Much, Baby, while an alternate version of "Steve I Always Knew" would appear on 2001's The Invisible Man.

On many versions, the first 2 songs are listed as "First Song Sucks" and "Second Song Sucks", respectively. Alternate copies list track one as "Skip To Track 3" and two as "Skip Over To Track 3", while some had the actual titles of the songs.
