The Zipper Mobile was a mobile recording studio in London, England owned by Jeffrey Zipper. The mobile consisted of a custom-built van equipped with a 16-track Sound-craft console, Cadey 16-track tape deck, AKG reverb and mics, JBL monitors, and Dolby noise reduction. The mobile was extremely compact and functional and had economical recording in mind.
